Advanced rock climbing course

For those who already attended a climbing course or have some experience, we suggest the Advanced rock climbing course.

You will learn how to choose the right itinerary, how to lead climb, use the belaying techniques and the climbing gear properly.

 

PROGRAMME:

 

First day

Meeting point: at 8.00 am at the Mountain guides’ office.

The guide will check the material and will provide what it is missing (harness, climbing shoes, helmet, belay device and carabiners). Transfer to the climbing crag (the location is decided by the mountain guide). The guide will choose the most suitable place based on the level of the group and the weather conditions. Review of knots, belay techniques, climbing techniques, progression analysis, rappelling.

Expected return: about 1 pm.

 

Second day

Meeting point: at 8.00 am at the Mountain guides’ office.

Transfer to the climbing crag (the location is decided by the mountain guide). The guide will choose the most suitable place based on the level of the group and the weather conditions. Review of lead progression techniques (optional), placement and use of tools  such as friends, nuts, lanyards.

Expected return: 1 pm.

 

Third day

Meeting point: at 8.00 am at the Mountain guides’ office.

Climbing multi pitch route (the location is decided by the mountain guide). The guide will choose the most suitable place based on the level of the group and the weather conditions. Technique progression, analysis of rope maneuvers, rappelling, etc.

Expected return: about 4 pm.

 

Fourth day

Meeting point: at 8.00 am at the Mountain guides’ office.

Transfer to the climbing crag (the location is decided by the mountain guide). The guide will choose the most suitable place based on the level of the group and the weather conditions. Review of lead progression techniques (optional), placement and use of tools  such as friends, nuts, lanyards.

Expected return: 1 pm.

 

Fifth day

Meeting point: at 8.00 am at the Mountain guides’ office.

Climbing multi pitch route (the location is decided by the mountain guide). The guide will choose the most suitable place based on the level of the group and the weather conditions. Technique progression, analysis of rope maneuvers, rappelling, etc.

Expected return: about 4 pm.

 

Other information:

The routes are chosen by the mountain guide. In case of bad weather it is possible to carry out the lesson in the ADEL climbing hall. Otherwise  we can make up the missed day on Saturday. If one of the five days will be missed, due to force majeure, the day lost will be reimbursed. The climbing routes can vary according to the capacities of the students and weather conditions.
