5 days rock climbing course
From Monday to Friday you will climb on the best Val di Fassa climbing crags. Final ascent to Vajolet Towers.
PROGRAMME:
1st day
Meeting point: at 8.00 am at the Mountain Guides’ office.
Transfer to the climbing crag, we will learn how to use the equipment (belay systems, knots, climbing technique, movements etc.)
Expected return: between 1.00 and 3.00 pm.
2nd day
Meeting point: at 8.00 am at the Mountain Guides’ office.
Transfer to the climbing crag: climbing session on different terrains (dihedral, plaque, chimney, overhanging) rappelling lesson with safety rope, knots and safety systems.
Expected return: between 1.00 and 3.00 pm.
3rd day
Meeting point: at 8.00 am at the Mountain Guides’ office.
Transfer to the climbing crag: the Mountain Guide will chose the best spot depending on the level you reached and on the weather conditions. Review of climbing techniques, belaying systems, rappelling in safety, climbing progression, etc.
Expected return: between 1.00 and 3.00 pm.
4th day
Meeting point: at 8.00 am at the Mountain Guides’ office.
The guide will check the backpacks and material, in order to to face the last two days of the course.
Transfer to the mountain guides’ crag located near the Vajolet refuge: general review of all techniques, lunch break and transfer to Re Alberto Refuge, located at the feet of Vajolet Towers. We will spend the night there.
5th day
Breakfast. We will climb on the Vajolet Towers and after come back to the hut for lunch. We will be back in the valley around 4.00/4.30 pm.
All the participants will receive a diploma. Final toast!
Price: 550€ per person (minimum 3 participants)
The price includes Mountain Guide UIAGM during the whole course and equipment rental.
Other information:
In case of bad weather conditions it is possible to carry out the lesson in the ADEL climbing hall. Otherwise we can make up the missed day on Saturdays. If one of the five days will be missed, due to force majeure, the day lost will be reimbursed. The final climb can vary according to the capacities of the students and weather conditions. The overnight stay at the refuge is not compulsory and it is not included in the price.
